IT IS RAINING ON SANTIAGO

In Chile in 1973. The putsch aiming to overthrow the socialist president Allende, elected three years earlier, is imminent. The population, following the call of the Popular Unity, which delivers on the radio the warning message "it's raining on Santiago", takes to the streets and prepares the resistance. Workers and students were united, but they were no match for General Pinochet's army.

"A powerful film about Pinochet's rise to power.
"A cinematographic nugget that relates a dramatic episode in the history of Chile. We discover a cast as exceptional as unexpected".
