38 years later... Roch and Berthe are still at Farrebique. As the old father had foreseen, it is Raymond who has taken over the farm. But times have changed and farms in the area are being transformed: specialization, battery farming, industrialization... In Biquefarre Raoul wants to sell... His land is too small and he doesn't want to do battery farming. In the surroundings, everyone is looking for this small piece of land which would allow to increase the patrimony. And of course, in the lead, Raoul's closest neighbors, the Farrebique farm. Raoul lets the bids go up...
