Two unemployed men, Georges and his friend Armand, sing in the streets. George has a beautiful organ. He is engaged to a little typist, but the young couple is short of money to get married. An impresario, having heard the singer in the process, brings him into a nightclub. Noticed by a circus horsewoman, Georges followed her on the track, but a jealous rival set fire to the automaton where the singer was locked up...
