Nelly
Manuel, the village doctor, passes away. Nelly, his wife, a nurse, along with their two children, Théo and Jeanne, and their friend Etienne, are confronted with this brutal reality. They are surrounded by the deceased's family—or rather what remains of it: his brother José, a carpenter, and his sister Mathilde, who moved far from the village. José, along with his business partner Serge, another local, builds his brother’s coffin. This painfully ordinary mourning situation quickly takes an unexpected turn when Nelly refuses the traditional removal of the body by the funeral services. What should be done with the dead body?
