In Paris, Maxi Ardel, an elegant forty-year-old, successfully and firmly manages a haute couture house named after him. It is preparing to deal in Florence with the acquisition of a textile company that belonged to an old Italian aristocratic family, the di Falco. It has, indeed, a revenge to take on them.
